Overview: Cave Parkour
Deep within the shadowy recesses of a massive subterranean cavern, Cave Parkour delivers an elemental platforming challenge in Combat Online 2. The course tests precision gap jumping, balance along narrow suspension bridges, and climbing agility across glowing magma beds, flooded grottoes, and high-altitude masonry ledges.
Course Stages & Subterranean Grottoes
The descent begins overlooking a wide subterranean chasm. Runners must first clear an incandescent lake of molten lava, utilizing isolated cobblestone landing pads to cross into the lower cavern tier. Beyond the lava pool lies a quiet water basin punctuated by earthen stepping blocks, requiring controlled hops to bypass shallow aquatic pits.
Reaching the central grotto brings players to a jagged rock platform studded with protruding red crystalline spikes. Runners must thread between these obstacles to access a narrow wooden suspension bridge hanging by ceiling ropes over open water. Crossing the footbridge leads into the final cavern vault, where the course scales upward along steep purple-textured rock walls. Jumpers must ascend floating obsidian stepping blocks, traverse narrow wall-mounted ledge rungs, and scale vertical wall ladders to reach the illuminated exit portal high above the cavern floor.
Movement Tactics & Cavern Tips
- Lava Pad Deceleration: Tap the backward movement key immediately upon landing on the cobblestone islands in the lava pool to prevent skidding over the edges into the magma.
- Bridge Rope Clearance: Maintain a straight line along the center axis of the hanging wooden bridge to avoid snagging collision hitboxes on the suspension ropes or the spiked entry rocks.
- Wall Ledge Strafe Alignment: Angle your camera downward along the final high-altitude wall ledges to verify footprint placement before initiating the leap to the ladder pegs.
Course Experience
Cave Parkour blends moody, low-light cavern ambiance with sharp, multi-tiered obstacle variety. Escaping the depths of the underground grotto demands steady edge control, calculated leap spacing, and confident vertical movement throughout.
