Overview: Erebor Parkour
Inspired by the legendary subterranean halls of the dwarven mountain kings, Erebor Parkour plunges runners into a vast stone stronghold in Combat Online 2. The course tests long-distance precision, vertical ramp navigation, and heat hazard evasion across monumental temple gates, incandescent magma pits, and suspended treasury platforms.
Course Stages & Mountain Stronghold Halls
The journey opens in a shadowed grassy gorge dotted with slender trees and abandoned vintage cars, facing the monumental stone facade of the mountain gates. Guarded by towering dwarven warrior statues gripping battleaxes, the entrance ramp leads runners directly into the subterranean interior of the mountain.
Once inside the mountain depths, the environment transitions into deep cavern vaults floored with molten lava. Players must bound across isolated stone stepping blocks and curved slabs to reach an elevated portal embedded in the masonry wall. Beyond this chamber lies a steep lava chute requiring controlled sliding and mid-air redirection into an open stone landing shaft. The final multi-tiered treasury hall demands leaping across hanging metal grates suspended by cables, scaling staggered wall steps, and bounding off a colossal six-sided die to conquer the highest observation tier.
Movement Tactics & Stronghold Tips
- Lava Stepping Centering: On the scattered flagstones within the magma chambers, rely on controlled forward hops rather than full sprints to stick landings without drifting over edges.
- Chute Slide Alignment: When descending the steep lava ramp, align your view directly with the central stone opening and brake forward momentum just before exiting the slope.
- Suspended Grate Cadence: Chain smooth bunny hops across the hanging cable platforms to cross the final chasm quickly without losing height.
Course Experience
Erebor Parkour delivers an imposing atmosphere defined by ancient dwarven stonework, deep fiery abysses, and dramatic architectural scale. Successfully claiming the heart of the mountain demands disciplined jump timing, steady strafing control, and sharp spatial awareness throughout.
