Overview: Forest Parkour
Nestled within an expansive alpine valley surrounded by steep earthen cliffs, Forest Parkour brings a nature-themed vertical trial to Combat Online 2. The course tests spatial awareness, canopy hopping, and hillside climbing across layered pine trees, elevated footbridges, and timber stilts.
Course Stages & Canopy Traversal
The journey starts on an open grassy slope marked with directional guide arrows, directing runners toward an elevated suspension footbridge with timber handrails that cuts through the lower woods. Alongside this path, players encounter giant playful props, including an oversized basketball lodged within a timber trellis over a blue stream bed.
Progressing through the valley requires bounding directly across the tiered leaf canopies of stylized evergreen pine trees. Runners must leap between green and yellow foliage tiers of varying heights, using them as stepping platforms over clear forest ponds. The final phase shifts toward the sheer cliff walls, where players must scale vertical switchback ramps anchored by wooden retaining stakes and leap across high-altitude timber peg platforms to reach the exit portal perched on the highest mountain shelf.
Movement Tactics & Forest Tips
- Tree Canopy Landing: Aim for the flat center blocks of each pine foliage layer to avoid sliding off the sloping, stepped leaf edges.
- Bridge Sprint Line: Maintain a straight sprint down the center of the wooden trestle bridge to build forward velocity before jumping onto adjacent treetop platforms.
- Cliff Peg Cadence: Take measured vertical hops across the high-altitude wooden stilts on the upper cliffs rather than full sprints to stick landings reliably.
Course Experience
Forest Parkour delivers an organic platforming playground that combines scenic wilderness aesthetics with challenging vertical ascension. Conquering its canopy leaps, suspension bridges, and cliffside scaffolding demands disciplined jump timing and precise airborne control.
