Overview: Halloween Parkour
Created by community builder pokikorea, Halloween Parkour is a nocturnal obstacle adventure set beneath a towering full moon. Blending spooky seasonal aesthetics with strict platforming challenges, the course leads runners across terraced hills, water channels, and haunted architecture in Combat Online 2.
Course Progression & Thematic Obstacles
The trial begins on an inclined grassy hill patterned with spaced earth and stone pads. Runners must establish momentum here before reaching the long water trench, where submerged red poles and trident hazards require precise leaps between the stone pathway and parallel earthen banks.
From there, the course introduces a ghost-lined corridor featuring black phantom cutouts guarding narrow turquoise stepping blocks. Clearing this sequence brings players to a canal where floating jack-o'-lantern pumpkins serve as stepping stones toward an elevated wooden ramp. The final gauntlet centers on a haunted mansion: runners must balance along bare branches of gnarled dead trees, navigate narrow exterior window ledges beneath an illuminated pumpkin lantern, and reach the attic balcony finish line.
Movement Tactics & Survival Tips
- Pumpkin Surface Alignment: The floating pumpkins have rounded collision bounds; land directly on the flat top stem area to prevent your character from sliding into the water.
- Ghost Gap Pacing: Time your jumps across the turquoise blocks without pausing, using the black ghost silhouettes as visual braking markers.
- Tree Branch Traversal: When scaling the twisted tree branches leading toward the mansion roof, switch to walking pace if necessary to stay centered on the thin wooden beams.
